About the Role: Our client is looking for an entry level Engineering Designer to join the team. This is an onsite role that works 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday from 6:30am-3:30pm. There are options to work half day Fridays! This is an office based, corporate engineering design position. The purpose of the role is to design work orders for power distribution projects supporting both large and small energy clients. Will utilize client specific software for 2D and 3D designs. Looking for candidates who love utilizing design software, have strong attention to detail, and who are interested in learning about the utilities and power industries!
Responsibilities:
- Designing work orders for power distribution projects.
- Supporting large and small energy companies and clients.
Qualifications:
- Completed AS or BS degree in Engineering, Technology, Construction, etc OR 1 years of design experience with utility design.
Required Skills:
- Ability to work onsite.
- Has reliable transportation.
- Ability to learn new software.
Preferred Skills:
- Proven experience with CAD/GIS/design.
- Interest or background in utilities, telecom, commercial wiring or power space.
