Endpoint Security Analyst (TS/SCI)

Location: Alexandria (Hybrid: 3 days onsite / 2 days telework, subject to client requirements)

Clearance: Active TS/SCI Required

Position Overview


Our federal integration and consulting client is seeking an experienced Endpoint Security Analyst to support the Department of War (DoW) Chief Information Office (CIO) in the strategic oversight and advancement of the Department's Endpoint Security Program. This role focuses on developing endpoint security requirements, assessing emerging technologies, engaging with stakeholders across DoW components, and supporting cybersecurity initiatives designed to protect enterprise, operational technology (OT), mobile, and virtualized environments.

The ideal candidate will possess strong endpoint security expertise, policy development experience, and the ability to communicate technical concepts to senior government stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the DoW CIO in the development and oversight of enterprise endpoint security initiatives and programs.
  • Develop, review, and publish cybersecurity policies, standards, guidance, and strategic recommendations.
  • Coordinate with DoW Component representatives, vendors, and stakeholders to evaluate endpoint security capabilities and implementation outcomes.
  • Analyze endpoint security reporting and metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Assist with briefing development, talking points, executive presentations, and senior leadership communications.
  • Evaluate emerging endpoint security technologies and evolving cyber threats, including risks associated with AI-enabled attacks and zero-day vulnerabilities.
  • Map Endpoint Protection Platform (EPP), SIEM, and SOAR capabilities to mission and security requirements.
  • Track tasks, action items, and deliverables to ensure timely execution across multiple workstreams.
  • Collaborate across technical and operational teams to improve cybersecurity posture and compliance with DoW requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI Clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field and 5 years of cybersecurity or IT experience; OR 9 years of cybersecurity or IT experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience with endpoint security, endpoint hardening, and vulnerability mitigation.
  • Experience writing, reviewing, and publishing cybersecurity policies and guidance.
  • Experience developing executive briefings, presentations, and client-facing communications.
  • Knowledge of Department of War (DoW) organizations and components.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity policies, principles, and best practices.
  • Experience with Endpoint Protection Platforms (EPP), Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), and Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) tools.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively across cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting the DoW CIO, OSW, or a Military Command at the Pentagon.
  • Prior service in the U.S. Armed Forces.
  • Experience using the Correspondence and Task Management System (CATMS).
  • Experience with Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) or Forescout.
  • Experience administering or supporting Microsoft E5/G5 security technologies, including:
  • Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE)
  • Microsoft Intune
  • Microsoft Entra ID
  • Microsoft Purview


Salary : $100,000 - $140,000
