Job Description
- Lead and support the integration of facility electrical upgrades into the existing NASA ISP power grid
- Support the reactivation and modernization of facility electrical systems, including power distribution and utility interfaces
- Coordinate electrical power designs with site utilities, power generation sources, and facility infrastructure
- Evaluate existing electrical systems and support upgrades to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant power delivery
- Collaborate with mechanical, facilities, and project teams to ensure power systems align with overall facility reactivation goals
- Support electrical system troubleshooting, commissioning, and re‑energization activities as required
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Proven experience working in city utility, industrial power, or power plant environments
- Strong background in electrical power systems (generation, transmission, distribution, or large‑scale facility power)
- Hands‑on experience integrating facility electrical systems into an existing electrical grid
- Clear experience as a power‑focused electrical engineer (not controls, instrumentation, or data acquisition)
- Working knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and best practices for industrial or utility power systems
Salary : $120,000 - $140,000
