Job Description:
We are seeking a highly technical, hands-on Director of Data Architecture to lead the design, implementation, and evolution of its enterprise data platform. This role will serve as the senior technical authority for data architecture, modeling, and analytics, with a strong focus on Oracle Energy & Water platforms and Microsoft Fabric.
This position is intentionally technical and delivery-oriented. The successful candidate will design data models, build architectures, write SQL, and leverage modern tooling (including AI-assisted development) to accelerate delivery. • Lead architecture decisions supporting analytics, reporting, and advanced insights across the utility
• Define and enforce data architecture standards, best practices, and governance frameworks
Data Modeling & Analytics Enablement
• Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models aligned with utility business domains
• Design dimensional models, star schemas, and conformed dimensions optimized for analytics
• Build data models specifically structured for Power BI and Fabric analytics consumption
Data Integration & Engineering
