Director Clinical Informatics

An employer in the Milwaukee, WI area is seeking a Director, Clinical Informatics for a direct-hire opportunity at a large national health system. This person will be supporting the system's WI presence which includes 14 hospitals. This person is being brought on to help increase user-adoption of Epic to support the organization in terms of Epic Gold Stars. This person will be responsible for driving the overarching strategy for the Clinical Informatics department, cultivating a high-performance culture of ownership and proactive problem-solving across diverse hospital settings and geographical regions. They'll also be orchestrating seamless collaboration between technical, clinical, and operational teams to ensure that technology deployments prioritize workflow efficiency, standardized practices and enhanced patient safety. They'll also serve as the primary technology liaison and trusted advisor to market leadership, leveraging expert negotiation and relational diplomacy to align complex IT interests with local clinical needs. Additionally, they'll be responsible for managing high-level project escalations and routine operations while utilizing data analytics and emerging industry trends to continuously optimize technology adoption and organizational value. This person will have 1 managerial report and a team of around 14 Clinical Informaticists.
