Role: Cyber Acquisition Program Manager
Location: El Segundo, CA (Onsite)
Pay Rate: $90–110/hr
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7am–4pm
Travel: Occasional to CO
Clearance: Active TS (SCI eligible)
Overview
Axient is supporting the U.S. Space Force’s Space Systems Command (SSC) on the FORGE program at Los Angeles AFB. FORGE is a next-gen ground system supporting missile warning and defense missions, integrating data from OPIR, SBIRS, MEO/LEO constellations, and future sensors.
This role will lead cybersecurity efforts across the program—ensuring secure, compliant, and on-time delivery of cyber capabilities.
What You’ll Do
- Lead planning, acquisition, and execution of cybersecurity efforts for the FORGE program
- Act as the main point of contact between technical teams, leadership, government stakeholders, and contractors
- Manage program cost, schedule, performance, and risk
- Build and maintain program plans, budgets, and timelines
- Lead cross-functional teams (cyber, engineering, contracting, ops)
- Support acquisition strategy and program execution decisions
- Run program reviews, track progress, and brief senior leadership
- Ensure compliance with DoD, cybersecurity, and contract requirements
- Drive issue resolution and keep programs moving forward
Requirements
- 10 years of program management experience within DoD environments (MAJCOM preferred)
- ACTIVE TS Clearance with SCI eligibility
- Strong background in cybersecurity programs (cyber ops, cloud security, or defense)
- Experience with SSC (Space Systems Command) is a plus
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage complex, fast-paced programs with competing priorities
- Master’s degree (or equivalent experience)
- Bachelor’s 8 years OR 12 years total experience can substitute
Salary : $90 - $110
