Consumer Loan Specialist

• Experience with maintenance of loans: lines of credit, payments, account closes
• Experience with CheckVision
• Strong excel skills
• Strong data entry skills

PCL Cash is responsible for Transactional Maintenance on lines of credit. We process payments, payoffs, and reversals.

Job Duties

• Process transactional maintenance on lines of credit, including payments, payoffs, reversals, and account closings.
• Ensure internal accounts are cleared within required time frames and meet strict SLAs and regulatory requirements.
• Work out of MSP to complete loan maintenance tasks and manage task queue.
• Use internal tools for research and processing:
• ESS for borrower and account information.
• EDR for document retrieval and imaging requests.
• LMR to work internal requests and update notations.
• CheckVision to access check and ticket images.
• Utilize Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and Excel for communication, scheduling, and data tracking.
• Track and reconcile work accurately, documenting daily production in SharePoint.
• Complete end-of-day balancing and month-end clearance of all items before leaving.
• Apply basic math skills to validate transaction accuracy.
• Investigate discrepancies by asking critical questions such as “What happened?” and “Why did it happen?” to resolve issues.
• Escalate unresolved issues to team leads or managers promptly.
• Collaborate with team members on group responsibilities while working independently on assigned tasks.
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure customer impact is minimized.
• Handle limited customer communication via email, primarily using prewritten responses for authorizations.
• Participate in weekly team meetings and complete phased training with shadowing and mentoring.
