Must haves:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or related field.
- 4 years of experience in compensation
- Strong understanding of compensation principles, market pricing methodologies, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience with compensation survey platforms (e.g., Radford, Mercer, WTW).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with merger and acquisition activities related to job mapping and compensation design.
- Familiarity with Workday or other HRIS platforms.
- Experience in the telecommunications industry.
Day to Day:
Insight Global is seeking a Compensation Analyst to support a large telecommunications company in Colorado. As a Compensation Analyst, you will leverage your in-depth knowledge of compensation principles and market trends to design, implement, and administer compensation programs that support business objectives. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, sound judgment, and the ability to communicate complex information effectively. A key focus of this role will be managing activities in preparation for a large upcoming acquisition.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with HRBPs and business leaders to support merger and acquisition activities, including job mapping, leveling comparisons, FLSA exemption analysis, and pay harmonization.
- Design, implement, and administer compensation policies and programs aligned with organizational goals.
- Conduct market pricing, participate in compensation surveys, and analyze peer data to maintain competitive salary structures and internal equity.
- Partner with HR and Talent Acquisition to ensure consistency across job families and levels; review and recommend salary adjustments and corrective actions.
- Audit and evaluate job content, classifications, and salary grades; maintain job architecture frameworks and support organizational design.
- Develop and maintain salary structures, including updates based on market trends and internal equity.
- Prepare special studies and recommendations on incentive plans.
- Maintain job descriptions that accurately reflect responsibilities, duties, and requirements.
- May support administration of domestic and/or international compensation programs.
