Maintenance Technician III & IV
Pay based on Experience and Certifications $33-$50/HR $3/HR for Night Shift
Day shift 6AM - 6PM & Night Shift 6PM - 6AM available
Ensure plant equipment is safe, reliable, and functional with minimal supervision. Perform complex maintenance tasks across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Collaborate with plant staff to identify and resolve issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair production/facility equipment.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems.
- Follow safety protocols (PPE, LOTO, permits).
- Read and apply technical diagrams and manuals.
- Support small projects and equipment upgrades.
- Maintain clean work areas and attend team meetings.
Electrical Duties
- Calibrate and repair control systems and instruments.
- Troubleshoot systems up to 480VAC.
- Assist with DCS troubleshooting and programming.
- Maintain fluid systems (pumps, valves, piping).
Mechanical Duties
- Perform pipefitting, welding, and fabrication.
- Align and maintain rotating machinery.
- Service HVAC and material handling systems.
Qualifications
- 5 years in industrial maintenance.
- Certification/apprenticeship in any of these Electrical, Plumbing, Welding, or HVAC preferred.
- A.S. degree or equivalent experience.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Proficient in LOTO, troubleshooting, and P&ID interpretation.
- Independent worker and mentor.
- Strong communication and computer skills.
Physical & Work Environment
- Lift/push/pull 50–100 lbs frequently.
- Stand/walk throughout shift.
- Exposure to chemicals, heat, heights, confined spaces.
- Forklift/lift operation (training available).
Schedule
- Full-time with potential shift work, overtime, and emergency call-ins.
Salary : $33 - $50
