Required Skills & Experience

Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Tier 2 Desktop Support Analyst for a leading healthcare organization. This individual will provide onsite and remote technical support for a large pharmacy operation and will remotely support corporate employees across multiple states. The role supports both front-end pharmacy users and backend warehouse/dispensing teams, where technology uptime is essential to business operations.
The ideal candidate will have strong desktop support experience and be comfortable troubleshooting a wide variety of hardware, including PCs, monitors, barcode scanners, laser printers, label printers, and other peripheral devices. In addition to day-to-day technical support, this person will manage IT inventory, update asset tracking systems, coordinate equipment disposals, and assist with tickets escalated through a regional support queue. This is a highly visible onsite role offering the opportunity to support critical healthcare operations while working alongside experienced analysts and technical leadership. Additional responsibilities include:
• Provide Tier 2 desktop support for a specialty pharmacy operation
• Support approximately 30 front-office associates including agents, pharmacists, and technicians
• Troubleshoot PCs, monitors, keyboards, mice, scanners, printers, and pharmacy-related hardware
• Maintain and track IT inventory and asset lifecycle management
• Coordinate hardware disposals and inventory system updates
• Support backend warehouse and dispensing operations where system uptime is critical
• Respond to tickets submitted across a 13-state pharmacy region
• Handle support requests through chat, phone calls, and ticket queues
• Utilize remote support tools to assist users in multiple locations
• Work closely with Associate Managers and Senior Analysts to resolve escalated issues
Ensure critical systems remain operational in a high-volume environment with strict productivity requirements
