Superintendent – Commercial Construction - Data Center Work
Overview:
Responsible for supervising a specific project area and achieving goals for schedule, budget, safety, quality, and team development. This safety-sensitive role oversees field engineers and coordinates trade partners to ensure compliance and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor field teams; maintain collaborative relationships with trade partners.
- Enforce site-specific safety plans; create/review AHAs and STAs.
- Manage short-term schedules and ensure timely completion.
- Track costs, production, and material handling; verify quality and documentation.
- Drive quality control standards and manage punch list for project turnover.
- Build strong relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and partners.
- Support coordination meetings and assist BIM/VDC with issue resolution.
Requirements
- 5 years in leadership roles on large commercial/industrial projects.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Prolog, Primavera, AutoDesk Suite.
- Skilled in construction layout, blueprint, and shop drawing reading.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
