Required Skills and Experience:
- 8 years of analog IC design experience (or equivalent MS/PhD with less)
- Deep knowledge of CMOS devices and analog design fundamentals
- Experience with transistor-level design and simulation (Cadence Analog Artist)
- Proficiency in layout tools (Cadence Virtuoso) and verification/extraction
- Understanding of analog and high-voltage layout techniques
- Ability to optimize circuits for power, area, and performance
- Experience running corner simulations, Monte Carlo, aging, and over-voltage stress analysis (pre- and post-layout)
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
Job Description
Insight Global is looking for an Analog IC Design Engineer to design and optimize critical analog and mixed-signal blocks for power management ICs (PMICs). You'll work with a team of analog and digital engineers to take projects from concept through silicon, including architecture, transistor-level design, layout oversight, lab characterization, and production test support. This role covers the full design lifecycle from behavioral modeling and simulation to bench testing and debugging.
Key Responsibilities
You'll design blocks such as op-amps, comparators, bandgaps, ADCs, DACs, LDOs, buck/boost converters, and battery chargers and help define chip interfaces, package pinouts, and PCB test boards along the way.
Salary : $150,000 - $175,000
