Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Technician

This role is a hands-on, HVAC lead responsible for overseeing and working alongside Level 1 and Level 2 HVAC technicians. The individual will manage daily field operations while actively participating in maintenance and repair work.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and supervising teams of junior HVAC technicians (Level 1 and Level 2) in the field
  • Performing hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial HVAC equipment
  • Servicing and maintaining compressors, pumps, and chillers
  • Working independently with minimal supervision while ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently
  • Coordinating with external vendors when projects exceed internal capabilities
  • Defining and communicating project scope, expectations, and requirements for outsourced work
  • Supporting projects that the internal team is unable to complete in-house

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

- EPA Certification

- 15 years Maintenance and repair on different commercial HVAC machines

- Air cool chillers, compressors, pumps, air cool chillers

- Can't just be a supervisor, needs to have hands on experience

- Commercial experience w/ a little residential

- Charging refrigerant on pieces of equipment

Compensation:

$34/hr to $38/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Pay: $34.00 - $38.00 per hour
