Objectives:
- Conduct preventive maintenance to prevent equipment failure, including cleaning air handling systems, replacing filters, and monitoring air handling systems.
- Diagnose issues, assess repairs needed, and provide clear explanations and cost estimates to customers.
- Repair and replace HVAC system components such as controls, thermostats, fans, and compressors.
- Complete documentation for all services rendered, explain warranties, and collect fees using Service Titan.
- Install, repair, or replace refrigerant lines, vents, smoke detectors, and other HVAC components as required.
- Ensure all installations and repairs meet technical and safety standards and regulatory codes.
- Measure and report system performance accurately.
- Continuously update job knowledge through training and educational opportunities.
- Promote and explain the benefits of membership plans to clients, achieving sales goals and performance metrics.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and truck stock.
Competencies:
- Thorough knowledge of residential HVAC systems and services.
- Thorough knowledge of Dispatch software a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and communication technologies.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality.
- Ability to build rapport, handle conflicts, and maintain a positive attitude.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in residential HVAC services.
- EPA Certification required.
- Valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
- Capability to lift at least 50 lbs and wear safety gear as required.
- Exposure to uncomfortable noise levels; use of protective clothing.
- Maneuver tools and equipment, work in elevated or tight spaces as needed.
