Job Summary
Create & maintain detailed AutoCAD floorplans of all University owned or leased buildings. Survey buildings to ensure accuracy of space metadata. Load metadata into space management software database. Provide University stakeholders with critical archival building information. Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Duties
50% - Essential - Space Audit:
Surveys University buildings to ensure accuracy of building plans and room numbers. Using planning software, all on-campus buildings will be surveyed on a yearly basis to capture changes in structure, usage, departments, and occupants. All surveys will be completed in conjunction with the Building Security Coordinator. Completes survey of renovated and new structures within 1 month of project completion to ensure information is captured.
20% - Essential - Data Management:
Collects metadata captured from field survey as deemed necessary by management for input in space management system. Ensure that all relevant data is entered accurately and in a timely fashion. Reviews data reports to ensure that all fields are updated with the appropriate information. Provides detailed reports from the space management system to university stakeholders and third-party vendors such as 911 on an as needed basis.
15% - Essential - CAD Space Management:
Creates and maintains detailed CAD space plans. All plans must be polylined to the 2010 FICM/SCUP standards with polylines being to interior finished wall; all drawings must follow AIA drawing layering conventions or Clemson's layering conventions. Links CAD drawings to the space management system via CAD integrator. All space plans must be within 1% accuracy to ensure the integrity of the database.
10% - Essential - Other activities:
Provides university stakeholders with critical archival building information to be used for building maintenance. Scan, copies, and e-mails project managers plans to assist with projects. Receives as-build plans as we as O&M and specs from project manager upon request. Other duties as assigned by management.
5% - Essential - Remote travel:
Travels to remote/off-campus locations to capture structures and data attributes for archival storage.
Minimum Requirements
Education: High School or Equivalent And drafting experience.
Licenses: Drivers License Class D normal < 26,000
Work Experience: 1 years
Preferred Requirements
Education: Bachelor's Degree

Compensation Information
Expected Salary Range: ($ 52,100.00 - $ 64,044.00)
Salary is dependent upon several factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's previous experience, knowledge, skills and performance in accordance with Clemson's compensation guidelines.
Essential Personnel Level
Normal Operations
Required to follow emergency facility closure directives, and not normally expected work on-site during emergency situations.
