Responsibilities
The College of Law Faculty Support team has as its mission to serve the administrative operational needs generated by the teaching, research, and public service activities of our faculty. This position serves as the College of Law Faculty Support Program Manager and supervises a group of administrative staff in support of these activities.
The Program Manager is responsible for directing and supervising all faculty support activities to include but not limited to faculty assignments, exam administration, proctoring, and compliance; legal word processing and editing; special event coordination; course material compilation and preparation; processing travel/purchasing for faculty & guests; and management of staff (including OPS support) to ensure essential processes and services.
Ensures staff is trained in any systems needed to support the faculty, such as: Canvas, Attendance Tracking, Textbook Ordering, Travel/Non-travel, FEAS submissions, Room reservations, recommendation letters through OSCAR or other means, Simple Syllabus, and workshop/enrichment meetings management.
The candidate must be flexible with a high level of organizational and interpersonal skills, good attention to detail, diplomacy, and a demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities simultaneously.
STAFF & UNIT SUPERVISION
Bachelor's degree and four years of experience related to academic and/or student services; or a high school diploma/equivalent and eight years of related experience. (Note: a combination of post high school education and experience equal to eight years.)

Anticipated Salary Range
The anticipated starting salary for this position is in the range of mid $50,000’s to $60,000’s, commensurate with experience and education.

STAFF & UNIT SUPERVISION
- Oversees day-to-day management of Faculty Support operations.
- Manages and supervises the work of faculty support team to include: employment, training, performance management and evaluation, and discipline of staff.
- Coordinates and assigns the allocation of work to the Faculty Support team. Sets work schedules and project priorities.
- Performs administrative operations duties when direct reports take leave or intervention is otherwise required.
- Establishes and maintains handbooks, manuals, onboarding guides, orientation materials, etc. that outline key policies and practices for staff to reference.
- Meets regularly with the Assistant Dean of Administration to discuss general unit issues, to identify problems in need of resolution, and to develop long-range strategic planning goals.
- Identifies issues, trends, and challenges, and suggests solutions for greater efficiency and effectiveness of Faculty Support overall.
- Develops metrics to assess execution of job responsibilities and holds direct reports accountable for achieving goals.
