The Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering at Florida A&M University-Florida State University College of Engineering is pleased to invite applications from highly qualified individuals for teaching faculty positions in the field of Electrical and Computer Engineering in Tallahassee, Florida. This position is at the Teaching Faculty-I level, but well-qualified candidates will be considered for a higher rank.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate is expected to have a strong commitment to teaching excellence in undergraduate and graduate courses and participate in college and professional service.
Qualifications
Candidates must possess an earned Ph.D. in Electrical or Computer Engineering or a closely related discipline, demonstrate the ability to teach large classes, and have a strong interest in using technology in engineering education.

The ECE Department currently has ~32 faculty members, around 100 graduate students, and over 500 undergraduate students, with annual research expenditures exceeding $20 million. Currently, the department offers Electrical Engineering BS, MS, and PhD degree programs, and Computer Engineering BS degree programs. The ECE Department is applying to add Computer Engineering MS and PhD degree programs. The Department has outstanding research facilities housed within the Center for Advanced Power Systems (CAPS) and the college building in the areas of electrical and computer engineering.
