Advertised Job Summary:
Olympic Performance Dietitian reports to the Director of Olympic Sports Performance Nutrition. Primary responsibilities include managing nutritional needs and nutritional programming for the student-athletes for Men’s and Women’s Basketball, Volleyball, and Softball. Counsel athletes on all aspects of performance nutrition, evaluate lab values, develop menus, work with strength & conditioning program to maximize performance by student-athletes, perform some administrative duties as assigned.

Direct and oversee all nutritional needs for assigned sports to include planning, monitoring, and implementing performance nutrition for student-athletes. Assist in planning and implementing meals and menus.

- Requires a bachelor’s degree in a job related field and 4 or more years of job related experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience.
- ServSafe certified.
- Licensed as a Registered Dietitian in the State of South Carolina, or have the ability to obtain licensure within 30 days of employment.
- Master’s degree and 2 years of directly related experience preferred.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Powerpoint, Word, Excel) required, data entry skills.
- Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with student-athletes, coaches, parents, co-workers and the general public.
