Job Summary
The Clinical Placement Coordinator is responsible for facilitating clinical placements in the nursing program. The Clinical Placement Coordinator will collaborate with the Department Chair and faculty to schedule clinical placements. The Clinical Placement Coordinator will work closely with students, faculty and the clinical placement liaisons at various facilities in utilization of the ACEMAPP or other clinical placement database system. This involves confirming that all onboarding and credentialing documents for compliance are in the system and current. Documents may include background checks, health/immunization requirements, drug screens as appropriate and other onboarding documents.
Responsibilities

Communicate via email, phone and/or in person with nurse educators and/or placement liaisons of our clinical and internship partners to develop and maintain clinical placements

Coordinate with the Department Chair to determine the number of student placements needed each semester and type of experience needed

Utilize the ACEMAPP system as required by clinical partners and GGC
4 -
Attend clinical affiliation meetings, community professional meetings, placement coordinators and/or ACEMAPP meetings as appropriate

Communicate with students to ensure that credentialing requirements are met in a timely manner

Interact with clinical and community agencies to plan for and schedule student group clinical or individual preceptored rotations

In collaboration with the Department Chairs manage student clinical placement issues as appropriate

Additional duties as reasonably assigned
Required Qualifications
$38,300 - $45,900; Salary offer will be dependent on candidate¿s experience and qualifications, internal equity considerations, budget availability, and salary administration guidelines.

- 2 Year / Associate degree in nursing or related allied health field
- Associate's degree in nursing or allied health field
- 2-3 years of relevant experience, such as experience in clinical placement and or clinical credentialing
- Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
- 4 Year / Baccalaureate degree in nursing or allied health field
- Baccalaureate degree in nursing or allied health
- Experience with ACEMAPP software
