The Academic Programs Manager plays a critical role in the administration, evaluation, and continuous improvement of academic programs within the UCLA Joe C. Wen School of Nursing. This position requires deep familiarity with the School's unique curriculum, policies, systems (including Bruin Learn), and existing infrastructure - along with trusted relationships across academic leadership. The Academic Programs Manager will possess direct experience with UCLA School of Nursing programs and be capable of independently managing complex, cross-functional academic processes. The Academic Programs Manager reports directly to the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs.

Salary & Compensation
- UCLA provides a full pay range. Actual salary offers consider factors, including budget, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations. Salary offers at the top of the range are not common. - Minimum of 10 years of administrative experience at a higher education institution, preferably within the School of Nursing or directly affiliated academic unit. (Required)
- Demonstrated success managing UCLA academic systems, including Bruin Learn, CCLE, and campus academic policy databases. (Required)
- Proven track record of implementing academic operations improvements specific to nursing programs. (Required)
- Established, ongoing relationships with current faculty, academic committee members, and program directors. (Required)
- Experience participating in accreditation processes for BRN, CCNE, or similar regulatory bodies. (Required)
- Familiarity with School of Nursing’s faculty workflows, curriculum planning cadence, and student accommodations framework. (Preferred)
- Active involvement in institutional working groups or councils, including those exploring artificial intelligence or technology-enabled teaching strategies. (Required)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills. (Required)
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively and handle complex program oversight responsibilities. (Required)
- Familiarity with curriculum development, academic policy, and student support systems. (Required)
- Master's Degree in Project Management, Education, Public Policy, or related field. (Required)
- Background Check: Continued employment is contingent upon the completion of a satisfactory background investigation.
- Live Scan Background Check: A Live Scan background check must be completed prior to the start of employment.
- CANRA: The position is designated as a mandatory reporter under CANRA. The employee must sign the "Statement Acknowledging Requirement to Report Child Abuse".
