Senior Audit Accountant
Insero Talent Solution has partnered with a CPA firm to recruit for a Senior Audit Accountant in the Rochester, NY area.
As a Senior Auditor, get exposure to commercial, non-profit, and employee benefit plan audits.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Lead audit engagements and review staff work before Manager/Partner review
- Escalate complex issues to Managers/Partners
- Prepare financial statements, notes, schedules, and management letters
- Evaluate internal controls and help prepare audit programs
- Develop strong client relationships and maintaining awareness of client business needs
- Coach Staff Accountants and Interns
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA-eligible required)
- Minimum 3 years of public accounting audit experience
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Detail-oriented
- CPA or advanced degree (MBA/Master’s) preferred
- Proficiency with Excel and audit software
Base salary range: $69,000 – $92,000 annually
