We are looking for an AI Operations Intern:
As an AI Operations Intern, you will join InRhythm's operations team to automate how the company runs, across onboarding, contracts, HR, finance, and resource management. You will build with Claude, ChatGPT, and automation platforms every day, ship working automations into real business workflows, and own them after launch: monitoring them, governing how they are used, measuring what they change, and helping teams adopt them. This role is for someone who spots the next manual process and fixes it before anyone asks.
At InRhythm, you will:
Spot manual, repetitive tasks across Business Operations, People Operations, Finance, and Delivery, and bring ideas for automating them to the team
Design and build AI-driven workflows and internal tools, such as an agent that coordinates tasks across Slack, calendars, spreadsheets, and documents
Build automations using Zapier, Make, n8n, APIs, and webhooks, and learn to create Claude skills and connectors that link AI tools to internal systems
Test automations before launch, monitor them after, and troubleshoot and find the root cause when something breaks
Write clear documentation, process diagrams, and step-by-step checklists for the automations you work on
Review AI-generated outputs for accuracy and quality before they reach end users
Help teams adopt new automations by writing simple how-to guides and gathering feedback on what works and what doesn't
Share regular progress updates with the team, including what you shipped, what you learned, and any blockers
Research new AI and automation tools and share what you find
What you bring to the table (Core Requirements):
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent hands-on experience)
Hands-on experience using Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini beyond casual use, such as writing structured prompts, building custom GPTs or projects, or using AI to automate your own work
Familiarity with at least one automation platform (Zapier, Make, n8n) and understanding of how APIs and webhooks connect tools
Comfort working with Google Workspace and spreadsheets, including formulas and basic data cleanup
At least one project you built and can walk us through, from a class, hackathon, internship, or personal side project
Strong attention to detail and good habits around documenting your work
Clear verbal and written communication, with the ability to explain what you built in plain language
Fluency in English
A self-starter mindset: you ask good questions, take initiative, and are comfortable learning in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
