The Product Marketing Coordinator supports the development and execution of marketing strategies for innovative ingredients used in beauty applications. This role bridges the gap between R&D, sales, and marketing, ensuring that product messaging, positioning, and go-to-market plans align with customer needs and industry trends. They will play a crucial role in developing and executing marketing campaigns and strategies for product launches, communication materials, and strategic activities and projects. They will collaborate with various departments within the company to ensure smooth execution of marketing activities for one or more product/category lines. This role will report to the Technical Marketing Manager.

Data-Based Marketing
- Deliver emailers with captivating subject lines 2x per month and measure open rates for optimization of messaging globally.
- Coordinate email timing with sales and other marketing programs and events to optimize follow-up by sales.
- Increase number of customers on email list by emailing once annually to a new email list.
- Utilize A/B testing to optimize response to emailers and ads.
- Coordinate and execute marketing campaigns through the use of various outlets, including sales tools, planner tools, digital, social media, and events.
- Assist in conducting keyword research and optimizing website content for SEO.
- Create marketing collateral including product datasheets, brochures, presentations, and digital content tailored to target audiences.
- Collaborate with R&D and marketing team to create marketing campaigns for new benefits, formulas, and trends.
- Assist Technical Marketing Manager(s) in planning and executing product launches, including internal training, promotional campaigns, and customer communications
- Monitor campaign performance and product engagement metrics to evaluate effectiveness and inform future strategies
- Author and oversee the development of technical marketing content, including scientific posters and white papers, advertisements, digital tools, sales presentations, promotional presentations, sales library & marketing database.
- Track and analyze all lead generation initiatives to generate actionable insights, optimizations, and recommendations for future lead generating activities and campaigns.
- Coordinate award submission for ingredients
- Advocate for Inolex’s brand leadership in sustainable chemistry through consistent messaging in marketing assets and at industry events.
- Monitor global beauty and personal care trends and sales call reports to inform content strategy and campaigns.
- Identify customer and consumer problems to be solved and market opportunities that we can address with existing or new ingredients
- Update the competitive database and identify competitive positioning opportunities for existing and new ingredients.
- Other activities as assigned by management
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into customer-friendly language.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Proficiency in marketing tools such as CRM systems, email platforms, and design software (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Canva).
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with ingredient manufacturing and B2B market is a plus.
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Ability to build collaborative relationships.
- Demonstrated analytical thinking.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tasks and challenges.
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry or a related field, or Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications or related field is preferred
- 2-4 years of related experience
- Experience supporting B2B marketing efforts and working with technical products
- Knowledge of cosmetic Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) is preferred
- Understanding of current OSHA Safety practices & procedures is preferred

- This position will be primarily located in an office. Must be able to work at a computer approximately 8 hours per day.
- Some lifting may be required for packing and shipping of boxes, up to 50 lbs.
- Must wear designated personal protective equipment when appropriate.
- Located in Philadelphia, PA. Occasional travel to industry events or customer sites. Approx 10%.
