Outside Sales Representative - Buffalo, NY

About Us: Innovative CRTE, Inc. is a supplier of high-quality automotive repair equipment, including welders, frame racks, lifts, rivet guns, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibration tools. We are dedicated to providing cutting-edge solutions to automotive repair shops, body shops, and dealerships. We are looking for a motivated and experienced Outside Sales Representative to join our growing team and help us expand our market presence.

 

Position Summary: The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for generating new business and managing relationships with existing customers within an assigned territory. This role will focus on selling a wide range of products, including welders, frame racks, lifts, rivet guns, and ADAS systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of automotive repair processes, hands-on experience, or sales experience in the industry, and a proven ability to manage customer relationships using CRM software.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively prospect and generate new leads within the assigned territory to increase sales of automotive repair equipment.
  • Manage and grow existing customer accounts within the territory, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term relationships.
  • Present, demonstrate, and explain the benefits and features of our product range (welders, frame racks, lifts, rivet guns, ADAS systems) to potential customers.
  • Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate equipment solutions to increase shop productivity and efficiency.
  • Provide technical support and product knowledge to customers, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Attend trade shows, industry events, and customer visits to build brand awareness and develop new business opportunities.
  • Travel extensively within the assigned territory to meet with customers and prospects, ensuring strong relationship-building and continued business development.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market feedback using CRM software.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including product support, marketing, and customer service, to ensure smooth sales processes and customer satisfaction.


Requirements

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales or hands-on experience in the automotive repair industry.
  • Knowledge of Products: Strong understanding of automotive repair equipment, particularly welders, frame racks, lifts, rivet guns, and ADAS systems.
  • Sales Skills: Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment.
  • Technical Understanding: Ability to explain complex technical products and solutions to a non-technical audience.
  • CRM Experience: Proficiency in using CRM software to manage leads, sales activities, and customer relationships.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently with a strong sense of initiative and time management.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory to meet with customers, as well as occasional travel for trade shows and industry events.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience selling automotive repair equipment is highly desirable.
  • Strong network and relationships within the automotive repair industry.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and trends related to ADAS calibration systems.
