We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Training Coordinator to lead the development, coordination, and oversight of staff training programs. This role ensures compliance with DDA, state, and federal regulations, as well as agency policies and procedures. The Training Coordinator will schedule, track, and facilitate required and ongoing trainings to support professional growth and strengthen the skills of employees serving individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities. The ideal candidate is proactive, efficient, and committed to fostering a culture of continuous learning and regulatory excellence.Key Responsibilities: Compliance & Regulatory OversightEnsure staff training requirements meet DDA, COMAR, and other applicable regulations.Maintain accurate and up-to-date training records for all employees.Prepare reports for internal audits, licensing reviews, and regulatory inspections. Training CoordinationSchedule, organize, and track annual recertifications and specialized training.Coordinate with external training vendors and certified trainers when needed.Facilitate in-house training sessions, ensuring accessibility and relevance. First Aid & CPR, DDA Core, Youth Training Staff DevelopmentIdentify training needs in collaboration with supervisors and leadership.Support staff with training resources, materials, and guidance.Promote professional development opportunities to strengthen workforce capacity.Administrative DutiesMaintain training database and ensure timely reminders for staff training renewals.Develop training calendars and distribute schedules to staff and managers.Monitor and follow up with staff and supervisors to ensure timely completion of training.CollaborationWork closely with HR, Program Directors/Managers, and Quality Assurance to align training with organizational goals.Participate in agency meetings to provide updates on training compliance and initiatives. Qualifications:Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Education, Training & Development, or related field (preferred).Experience in training coordination, staff development, or compliance (DDA or healthcare/human services environment preferred).Strong organizational and time management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and/or training management systems.Knowledge of DDA/COMAR regulations (preferred, or ability to learn quickly). Salary : $55,000 - $75,000
