Your New Role

  • Support both administrative operations and accounts payable functions
  • Manage vendor invoices, payments, and statement reconciliations
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
  • Maintain organized digital and physical records
  • Support office operations and daily clerical needs

Location: Millersville, MD

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Processing invoices and managing the full accounts payable cycle
  • Preparing check, ACH, and wire payments and communicating with vendors
  • Reconciling vendor statements and assisting with AP accruals
  • Supporting audits by maintaining accurate financial documentation
  • Greeting visitors and maintaining visitor records
  • Organizing files and maintaining office documentation
  • Monitoring and restocking office and kitchen supplies
  • Performing data entry, reporting, and basic administrative tasks

Job requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Three or more years of experience in accounts payable or administrative support preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel formulas and pivot tables
  • Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Sage
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and internal controls
