A Unique Opportunity: Sacramento Math Intervention Project

We are launching an exciting math intervention initiative in Sacramento, and we’re looking for a part-time Math Teacher to play a central role in its success.

This is not a typical teaching job—you will be working inside a forward-thinking program designed to accelerate student learning while modeling best practices for teachers across the district. If you’re looking for meaningful impact, flexibility, and the chance to be part of something genuinely innovative, this is a rare opportunity to join a high-visibility project from the ground up.

You Are Ready To 🎯
  • Play a vital role in this breakthrough intervention project and help shape its success.
  • Bring enthusiasm, expertise, and a passion for student growth into every classroom you support.
  • Work in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment committed to educational excellence.
  • Be the go-to math expert for teachers and school staff, helping them deliver instruction that truly works.
  • Build strong relationships with administrators, teachers, and students.
  • Ensure high-quality implementation and maintain consistent tracking and communication through our CRM.
  • Embrace the hands-on, collaborative nature of an early-stage initiative.

What You Will Do 🏁
  • Teach and support student learning in small-group or targeted intervention settings.
  • Model high-quality math instruction and demonstrate best practices aligned with Innovamat’s curriculum.
  • Observe classroom instruction and collaborate with teachers to refine strategies and approaches.
  • Conduct hands-on math sessions focused on conceptual understanding and problem-solving.
  • Identify training needs and help develop school-wide success pathways.
  • Build community among educators and champion high-quality math teaching across the Sacramento region.
  • Maintain strong stakeholder relationships throughout the project.

You Have 🔍
  • 3–4 years of experience working in education as a multi-subject teacher, with a solid understanding of classroom instruction and student needs.
  • Bonus points if you have strong math expertise or experience teaching math — this will help you thrive in our intervention model.
  • Strong math content knowledge and training in math education.
  • Experience teaching math, ideally at the elementary level.
  • A genuine passion for bringing high-quality, research-based math learning into classrooms.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to connect quickly with students and teachers.
  • A collaborative, hands-on mindset and an eagerness to help build something new.
  • An innovative, entrepreneurial approach to improving learning outcomes.

What We Offer You 🤗
  • A unique part-time teaching role within an exciting intervention project. Schedule: 4 days/week and 4 hours/day!
  • The chance to work with a global, fast-growing edtech leader.
  • Flexibility and autonomy in your daily schedule.
  • A supportive team of math experts and researchers.
  • Opportunities to influence the future of math education in California.
