Solutions Architect

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Solutions Architect

Position Type: Full-Time, Contract

Duration: 6 months Possible Extension

Location: St Louis, MO

As a Solutions Architect, you will do:

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and translate business and technical requirements into scalable solution designs
• Design and document end-to-end architecture, including APIs, integrations, and workflows
• Produce clear, high-quality technical documentation (architecture diagrams, process flows, system interactions)
• Lead solution design discussions and collaborate closely with development teams
• Identify risks, gaps, and inefficiencies, and propose effective solutions
• Support API design, integration strategies, and service orchestration
• Continuously improve architecture standards and documentation practices
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field
• 5 years of experience in solution architecture, systems design, or software engineering
• Strong experience with Java-based systems and application architecture
• Hands-on experience with APIs (RESTful services, integrations)
• Solid understanding of distributed systems and microservices
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in telecommunications or mobile IT
• Familiarity with tools like Postman and Chalk
• Exposure to OSS/BSS, mobile platforms, or network integrations
• Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience leveraging AI tools for development or documentation

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range*: $55 - $60 per hour

• Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
