Key Responsibilities
- Conduct financial modeling, valuation, and scenario analysis for private equity, venture capital, credit, and other alternative investments
- Assist with due diligence, including market research, competitive analysis, and operational assessment of potential investments
- Support portfolio monitoring, including performance tracking, risk reporting, and P&L analysis
- Build and maintain analytical tools, dashboards, and reports to support investment decisions
- Collaborate with investment teams to identify new opportunities and assess market trends
- Prepare investment memos, presentations, and regular reporting materials for senior management and investment committees
- Track industry trends, fund activity, and asset class developments to inform investment strategy
- Identify process improvements, efficiencies, and insights in portfolio and deal management
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
- Understanding of alternative assets, private markets, and investment processes
- Experience or coursework in financial modeling, valuation, or portfolio analysis (preferred but not required)
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis tools; familiarity with Python, R, or SQL is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments
