Electromechanical Maintenance Technician, Cleanroom & PLC Systems

This is a 2nd Shift role, Monday–Friday (130pm - 10pm), paying $25 - $35 per hour depending on experience.Your missionOwn the health of liquid injection molding machines, extruders, and supporting equipment. You’ll conduct precise change-overs, test and calibrate equipment, lead root-cause problem solving, and champion standards that protect product quality, operator safety, and cleanroom integrity.How you’ll make an impactPlan and perform material change-overs on liquid injection machines per weekly schedule.Set up tooling, machines, and auxiliary equipment; complete all required setup/adjustment documentation.Respond to alarms and faults with structured troubleshooting; make adjustments and recommend repairs.Initiate root-cause investigations for major equipment failures; report outcomes to the Maintenance Manager.Recommend maintenance-driven improvements to lift productivity and reduce cost and failure rates.Open and close maintenance work orders quickly; model teamwork and professionalism.Calibrate equipment within specified ranges to meet exacting standards.Test electrical systems and circuit continuity using ohmmeters, voltmeters, and megohmmeters to verify safety and compatibility.Communicate best practices across shifts; uphold traceability, process control, safety, housekeeping, and cleanroom procedures (including attire and contamination control).What you bringHigh School Diploma or GED.2 years as a Preventive Maintenance or Maintenance Technician in manufacturing.Ability to read/understand prints and electrical schematics; skilled with gauges and inspection tools.Strong knowledge of compressors, chillers, and water softener systems.Motivated, creative, and effective under pressure in a fast-paced team setting.Clear communicator; detail-focused with professional documentation.Preferred extrasTechnical degree.Ability to read and understand prints and electrical schematics.Ability to read, use and interpret measuring devices, gauges and inspection tools.In-depth knowledge of compressors, chillers, and water softener systems.Ability to meet internal deadlines and customer due dates.Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.About Ingersoll RandFor 160 years we’ve combined deep engineering heritage with a startup’s drive.
