Job Overview
Under the direction of the Quality Manager, the Document Control Technician supports the various Quality Management System (QMS) elements at the facility.
Responsibilities
- Conduct daily review of the Device History Record (DHR) for all production work orders.
- Resolve discrepancies in documentation, counts, parameters, and other relevant details.
- Perform daily lot release on all shipments.
- Track the status and certification of all lots.
- Provide support for New Product Introductions (NPI).
- Assist in Internal and External audits, as required.
- Respond to customer material inquiries.
- Support projects and other Quality Assurance activities as assigned.
- Set up and maintain all training programs.
- Archive Quality Management System QMS documents.
- High School Diploma
- 2 years of experience
- Proficiency in MS Office applications: Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to read and understand documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals in English.
- Proficiency in writing routine reports and correspondence in English.
- Capable of performing basic mathematical operations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages, as well as draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Ability to apply common sense to follow instructions provided in written, oral, or diagram formats.
- Team player who fosters a respectful and collaborative environment by assisting coworkers and sharing ideas as appropriate.
- Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or minimum two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Manufacturing is a plus
- Master Control experience
