Conveyor Project Engineer
We are seeking experienced Conveyor Project Engineers to support large-scale manufacturing and automotive projects across multiple U.S. sites. This role is focused on project execution and delivery—not design or CAD work.

Role Overview:
You will be responsible for managing conveyor systems throughout the full project lifecycle—from design coordination and supplier engagement to installation, startup, and validation. A key part of this role is ensuring all systems meet required engineering standards and specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead end-to-end execution of conveyor system projects
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure compliance with standards (GCS1)
• Oversee installation, commissioning, and startup activities
• Manage timelines, project deliverables, and on-site execution
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across manufacturing plants
• Participate in supplier meetings and project reviews
Required Experience
• Strong experience with conveyor systems such as:
Chain conveyors
Skid systems
Skillet systems
EMS conveyors
Paint shop conveyors
• Background in automotive or transportation manufacturing preferred
• Hands-on experience in project management and execution (not design-only roles)
• Ability to work in plant environments and manage on-site activities

Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred
• Equivalent hands-on experience (extensive conveyor/trades background) will also be considered
Work Schedule & Location
• Hybrid work model (On-site at Warren, MI: Tuesday–Thursday)
• 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (flexibility required)
• Occasional off-shift, weekend, or holiday work during project phases or shutdowns
Travel Requirements:
• Up to 50% travel across the U.S. (expenses reimbursed)
• Extended on-site assignments may be required depending on project phase
Contract Details
• Initial duration: 12 months
• Strong potential for long-term extensions based on performance

• Involvement in body shop and general assembly operations
• High interaction with internal teams and external suppliers

Salary : $50 - $55
