What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vehicle Test Engineer position at InfoStride?
What’s this team's overall project:
Team is supporting embedded automotive validation activities focused on Autosar-based ECU systems, hardware-in-the-loop validation, automation, and system-level integration testing. The work supports production-oriented automotive embedded platforms and validation environments.
What will they be working on:
ECU/system-level validation
Hardware-in-the-loop (HiL) testing
Embedded automotive validation automation
Autosar stack validation and integration
Validation of ECU/device driver behavior
CAN/network communication validation
Test automation scripting
Working within simulation environments and partial-system hardware setups
Extending and executing automated validation frameworks
Integration/system-level testing activities
What does their day to day look like:
Executing embedded validation test cases
Performing HiL and simulation-based testing
Writing/modifying Python automation scripts
Working with Vector or dSpace environments
CAN/CANoe/CANalyzer-based validation
Validating ECU interactions and embedded behaviors
Debugging communication/signaling issues
Reviewing requirements and validating expected system behavior
Supporting automation-heavy validation workflows
Collaborating closely with embedded developers and validation engineers onsite
What types of vehicles will they be working on:
Vehicle agnostic. Applied Intuition supports automotive simulation and embedded validation platforms rather than traditional OEM end-to-end production vehicle environments. Engineers may work on partial systems, ECUs, simulation environments, and embedded automotive platforms.
Must Have Skills:
Automotive embedded validation experience
HiL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) testing experience
Embedded systems/ECU validation
