Job Title: Business Systems Analyst – ERP & Business Applications

Pay Rate: $100 to $110K/YEAR (with excellent benefits)

Location: Onsite - Long Beach, CA (close to the Blue Line)

We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst – ERP & Business Applications to support and optimize enterprise business applications while playing a key role in the organization's ERP modernization initiatives.

This position combines business systems analysis, ERP implementation, application administration, end-user support, and project coordination. You will partner with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors to improve business processes, implement technology solutions, and ensure critical business applications operate efficiently.

• Administer, configure, and maintain enterprise business applications and ERP systems, including user access, security, and system administration.
• Support the implementation, migration, enhancement, and ongoing administration of Microsoft Dynamics 365 or comparable ERP platforms.
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements while recommending technology solutions and process improvements.
• Coordinate data integrations between operational systems and reporting platforms, including Power BI, Sigma, SSRS, and SQL Server environments.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through automation, workflow optimization, and emerging AI technologies.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for business application support by troubleshooting issues, managing support requests, and ensuring timely resolution.
• Train end users and develop documentation, including user guides, standard operating procedures, and system documentation.
• Lead and coordinate ERP-related projects, upgrades, system enhancements, and application migrations.
• Collaborate with software vendors, consultants, developers, and cross-functional business teams to deliver successful technology initiatives.
• Communicate project status, risks, milestones, and implementation progress to leadership and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• 5 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, ERP Business Analyst, Business Applications Analyst, or similar role.
• Hands-on experience implementing, administering, or supporting ERP platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, Acumatica, SAP, Oracle, Infor, or similar enterprise ERP systems.
• Experience administering enterprise business applications, including system configuration, user access management, and application support.
• Experience with SQL and relational database concepts.
• Experience gathering business requirements, documenting functional specifications, and improving business processes.
• Experience coordinating ERP implementation, migration, upgrade, or application enhancement projects.
• Proven ability to support end users through troubleshooting, issue resolution, training, and documentation.
• Strong communication skills with experience partnering with business stakeholders, IT teams, software developers, and third-party vendors.
• Experience with Transportation Logics or Supply Chain disciplines is a plus
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while supporting a fast-paced operational environment.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementation or administration experience.
• Experience with reporting platforms, including Power BI, Sigma, SSRS, or similar BI tools.
• Knowledge of SQL Server, data warehouses, or Snowflake.
• Experience within transportation, logistics, manufacturing, distribution, or supply chain environments.
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, DevOps, or Waterfall software development methodologies.
• Business Process Analysis, Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, PMP, CBAP, or Microsoft certifications.
• Experience identifying opportunities for workflow automation or AI-enabled business process improvements.
