Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Picker/Packer to join our warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting products from inventory and preparing orders for shipment. This position is essential to ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods to our customers. The ideal candidate will be reliable, organized, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Select items from inventory based on order specifications using pick lists or scanning devices
- Pack products securely to prevent damage during transit, ensuring all items are included and properly labeled
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate efficient workflow
- Inspect products for quality and accuracy before packing
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed
- Follow safety guidelines and company procedures at all times to promote a safe working environment
Qualifications
- Prior experience in warehousing, order picking, or packing is preferred but not required
- Ability to operate basic warehouse equipment such as scanners, carts, or forklifts (training provided if necessary)
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order fulfillment
- Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Basic reading and math skills are necessary for verifying orders and quantities
Pay: Up to $16.00 per hour
