Connect Staffing is hiring an Order Picker Packer for a wholesale plumbing and water tank manufacturer in Houston, TX. In this role, you will pick products from warehouse racks and bins using pick lists, verify order accuracy, and package and label shipments for UPS, USPS, and freight carriers. This is a long-term opportunity with a stable manufacturer that relies on its warehouse team to keep daily shipping operations running.
Pay:$15.00/hr
Schedule: Monday to Friday 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Responsibilities
- Locate and pull products from warehouse racks, bins, and storage areas using order sheets or system-generated pick lists.
- Verify product numbers and quantities against orders before packing.
- Package, label, weigh, and prepare shipments for UPS, USPS, or freight pickup.
- Print shipping labels and invoices for outbound orders.
- Operate a pallet jack and shrink wrap machine to stage and secure completed orders for the dock.
- Assist with periodic inventory counts and cycle checks to maintain stock accuracy.
Minimum Requirements
- 1 year of experience in warehouse order picking, packing, or a related warehouse role.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience operating a sit-down or stand-up forklift.
- Forklift certification (any type).
- Familiarity with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems or warehouse management software.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook).
- Experience in a plumbing, building materials, or wholesale distribution warehouse.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs frequently and stand or walk for an entire shift.
