Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Housekeeper to join our team and ensure that our residential spaces are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional cleaning services, managing household chores efficiently, and providing a welcoming environment for clients.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, carpet cleaning, and sanitation of bathrooms and kitchens
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure hygiene standards are consistently met
- Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, and carpet cleaners with proper manual handling techniques
- Manage laundry tasks including washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens
- Maintain cleanliness of surfaces, furniture, appliances, and outdoor areas as needed
- Follow safety protocols when handling cleaning detergents and chemicals to ensure a safe environment
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific needs and provide exceptional customer service while maintaining professionalism
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping roles, including janitorial or custodial experience
- Knowledge of cleaning detergents, equipment operation, and sanitation procedures
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely and efficiently
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks and complete duties within allocated schedules
- Experience with outdoor work environments is a plus
- Excellent client communication skills to understand preferences and deliver personalized service
- Familiarity with floor cleaning techniques such as mopping, polishing, and floor care products
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
Pay: Up to $13.00 per hour
