- Our client, a leading provider of secure cloud services for SAP workloads, is hiring a Technical Service Manager (TSM) to own the post-sale technical relationship for large, strategic RISE with SAP customers.
- This is a senior individual contributor role within the client's Cloud Delivery Management organization.
- You will serve as the customer's trusted technical advisor across the entire RISE lifecycle.
- You will orchestrate the client's delivery experts, own the customer's landscape strategy, and partner with the Client Delivery Manager (CDM) to deliver against the service plan.
- Not a hands-on Basis admin role
- Not a presales or sales engineering role
- Not an implementation consultant role
- Not a people-management role
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for strategic RISE customers
- Own deep understanding of each customer's SAP landscape and cross-system interdependencies
- Orchestrate SMEs across Basis, HANA, security, and networking to resolve complex technical issues
- Lead monthly technical and operational reviews with customer stakeholders
- Advise customers on Business Continuity, Security & Compliance, Networks, and cloud architecture
- Guide S/4HANA conversion, migration, and integration strategy (BTP, Ariba, SuccessFactors)
- Partner with System Integrators and SAP Professional Services on migration execution
- Translate complex technical topics for both executive and engineering audiences
- De-escalate issues and drive resolution plans to completion
- US Citizenship (sole citizenship; no dual citizenship permitted)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Management
- 4 years of hands-on SAP Basis administration experience
- 4 years of customer-facing SAP technical consulting experience
- 4 years of solution design, enterprise architecture, or SAP implementation
- 2 years of technical project management for SAP operations or implementation
- Working knowledge of at least one hyperscaler (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Strong ability to translate between technical and non-technical audiences
- Proven engagement management and de-escalation skills
- SAP NetWeaver, OS/DB Migration, or SAP HANA certifications
- AWS, Azure, or GCP certifications
- S/4HANA architecture and conversion experience
- Cloud security, encryption, and key management knowledge
- Prior experience in a TSM, TAM, or SAP Technical Architect capacity
- Fully remote, US-based
- Contract-to-hire with strong conversion pathway
- 40 hours/week, weekly timesheets
