About the Opportunity
Join a cloud infrastructure engineering team focused on automation-first delivery across multi-cloud environments. You will design, deploy, and maintain scalable infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code, drive consistency through CI/CD, and collaborate with product teams to deliver secure, reliable platforms. This role emphasizes deep Terraform and Ansible expertise, strong Linux skills, and a security-first mindset. Experience leveraging generative AI to improve efficiency is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain infrastructure-as-code automation using Terraform and Ansible.
- Translate complex requirements into well-scoped technical plans, tasks, and documentation.
- Use GitLab (multi-repo) to manage infrastructure and create/merge change requests.
- Deploy and operate containerized services using Docker and/or Kubernetes.
- Implement monitoring, configuration management, and logging across multi-tenant, multi-cloud environments.
- Troubleshoot connectivity, traffic flow, and infrastructure issues across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Produce SOPs, knowledge base articles, technical bulletins, and customer-ready documentation.
- Operate with a security-first mindset and uphold best practices.
- Leverage generative AI tools (within security boundaries) to improve accuracy and efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of hands-on Terraform experience (production-grade, at scale).
- 5 years of Ansible automation (roles/galaxy) for configuration management.
- 5 years in cloud infrastructure/DevOps roles.
- Strong knowledge of AWS, Azure, and/or GCP core services (compute, storage, networking, IAM, DNS).
- Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting.
- Scripting with Python and Bash; experience with CI/CD (e.g., GitLab).
- Understanding of networking (TCP/IP, routing, DNS, subnetting).
- BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- U.S. Citizen only (no dual citizenship).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience applying generative AI/AI tooling to engineering workflows.
- RBAC/identity management, logging/monitoring in cloud environments.
- HashiCorp Vault and/or ServiceNow experience.
- Experience in regulated or government-aligned environments.
- Terraform or major cloud provider certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP).
Work Environment
