What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler position at Infomatic?
Job Responsibilities:
- Partner with the planning team to ensure smooth and timely execution of work orders.
- Accurately prepare and assemble work order kits.
- Maintain and organize documentation and records for all required work orders.
- Utilize hand tools and material handling equipment such as screw guns, tape measures, etc.
- Safely operate equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and other handling machinery.
- Foster a positive and professional work environment by addressing issues with management to support strong team morale.
- Carry out additional tasks as assigned, within the scope of this role.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent education.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. independently.
- Must meet US Person requirements.
- Willingness to obtain forklift certification if needed.
- Basic computer proficiency, including data entry for issuing materials and tracking goods movement.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with SAP and Excel (including lookups and pivot tables).
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Prior background in materials handling or related functions.
