Responsibilities
- Supervise the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems across facilities, buildings, and equipment.
- Ensure full compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee daily electrical maintenance, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal functionality of equipment by directing technical staff and contractors.
- Develop, implement, and manage preventive electrical maintenance programs, inspections, and testing schedules (weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually) for equipment and systems.
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors on projects, maintenance activities, proposals, and bids.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, resources, and inventories of parts and tools to support timely completion of electrical work.
- Provide technical expertise, training, and support to maintenance team members; lead recruitment, hiring, and performance evaluations.
- Monitor, analyze, and control electrical maintenance budgets, costs, and vendor contracts.
- Document and maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, inspections, and safety compliance.
- Promote and support energy-saving initiatives and sustainability practices.
- Apply strong problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Enforce workplace safety standards, proactively address unsafe conditions, and ensure all required training and documentation are completed.
Qualifications
- 10 years of experience in electrical maintenance, repair, and operations in a manufacturing environment.
- Leadership experience at assistant manager level or higher, with 3–5 years of proven team management skills.
- Strong knowledge of three-phase distribution systems, PLCs, robots, servo motors, and electrical building systems.
- Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and control diagrams.
- Familiarity with materials, signage, finishes, and furniture as related to facilities maintenance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Associate’s degree required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain an on-call schedule with occasional work outside normal hours, including holidays and weekends.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
