Summary:
Provide first-line desk-side IT support at schools and district locations. Resolve hardware, software, and network issues while maintaining strong customer service and collaboration with school staff and IT teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site technical support (desktops, Chromebooks, iPads, macOS, Windows, printers, interactive boards, signage, Kronos, Wi-Fi).
- Troubleshoot, update, and maintain IT devices and labs.
- Support one-to-one student device program and standardized testing readiness.
- Escalate complex issues to Lead Technician/IT Manager.
- Document tickets and resolutions in Incident IQ.
- Assist with IT projects, AV events, and equipment deployment.
- Maintain accurate asset records and clean IT spaces (MDF/IDF).
- Attend professional development and collaborate with vendors/L3 teams.
Skills & Qualifications:
- 3 years field tech/desk-side support experience (required).
- A Certification (required).
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Experience with mobile device support (Chromebooks, iPads, macOS, iOS).
- Understanding of networks/wireless troubleshooting.
- Ticketing system experience (Incident IQ preferred).
- Educational environment experience is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Must pass fingerprint/background check.
Education:
- Associate degree preferred (or equivalent experience).
- A Certification required.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $22.00 - $23.00 per hour
