Position Title:- Senior Enterprise Network Engineer

Location: Raleigh, NC

Interview Process:- Either webcam or In-person

We are seeking a highly technical Senior Enterprise Network Engineer to provide expert-level networking and firewall support across hybrid environments. This role will work closely with Operations and Cloud teams to ensure secure, reliable connectivity for applications hosted on AWS, Azure, and on-premises infrastructure. The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer with deep knowledge of cloud networking, security, and enterprise-grade firewall technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot complex networking and security issues across cloud and on-prem infrastructures.
• Create, manage, and optimize firewall rules and policies across various environments.
• Support Operations and Cloud teams with networking requirements and escalations.
• Design, implement, and maintain cloud networking components and architecture.
• Monitor, diagnose, and resolve network performance issues including throughput, latency, and slowness.
• Maintain documentation and tracking of all technical tasks related to networking and security.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Extensive hands-on expertise with Palo Alto VM-Series firewalls and Panorama (configuration, optimization, policy management).
• Strong background in routers, routing protocols, transit gateways, load balancers, and cloud networking fundamentals.
• Solid knowledge of AWS cloud security best practices and implementation of security controls.
• Experience with VPN technologies including IPsec and SSL.
• Proven ability to work with large TCP/IP networks—design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with DNS, DHCP, IPAM, and name resolution services.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, able to analyze and troubleshoot complex cloud networking issues.
• Self-motivated with a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure components: compute, storage, network management, and monitoring.

Highly Desired Skills:

• Knowledge of WAF as a Service (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with multi-cloud networking architectures and best practices.
