About the role...
This is a 1099, commission based growth opportunity. The IPG staffing model does not include W2 hires at this time or attributes that would normally be found with a W2 job offering like benefits coverage or paid time off.
Based on experience, if you have a strong payroll and/or workforce management background, work life balance and a flexible schedule is high on the priority list and you values the concept of running a "book of business" within a larger fast past, start up team environment, this is for you. The job is available today and the opportunities are broad.
If you are looking for a traditional, 9am-5pm job with everything already well defined and routine, we would ask you to check back when our search presents options that are a better fit.
This role is 100% remote. Travel is set at less than 10% per year and anything beyond having a WIFI connection and a laptop are completely covered by IPG. There is no financial investment required from the candidate.
Qualifications
The most successful candidates will check the majority of these boxes:
- The candidate has a clearly defined skill set in the payroll and workforce management space. This could be in operations, consulting, project work, vendor work and so forth. We cannot accept candidates that are new to the space or have only high level exposure to it at this time.
- The candidate is familiar with LinkedIn and other professional outreach forums and has the capability to manage a book of business independently. While training is absolutely available and documented, cadence meetings are set and direction will be clearly defined, this is a new business model and the candidate would have to find it exciting to contribute to the build of a business over walking into a completely defined framework upfront.
- We work as a team at IPG- while we work primarily with the largest global organizations in the world and practice stringent compliance, we are not your typical large consulting house structure with all the politics, required timesheets and policing and traditional career pathing. This would have to be seen as a positive by the candidate.
