Location: Remote with up to 25% travel to El Dorado Arkansas, Cherokee Alabama, Pryor & Oklahoma City Oklahoma

Infinitek is partnering with a leading chemical manufacturer to recruit a Reliability Engineer to support Mechanical Integrity across multiple manufacturing sites.

This is a high-impact opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Integrity, Fixed Equipment, Inspection or Reliability Engineer to become a technical SME within a growing organization, supporting pressure equipment, piping and stationary assets while helping develop and strengthen the company's long-term reliability strategy.

Key Responsibilities of Reliability Engineer

• Develop inspection strategies and frequencies for pressure vessels, storage tanks, piping and stationary equipment based on applicable codes and damage mechanisms.
• Provide technical support to site Mechanical Integrity teams and help develop consistent MI standards and procedures.
• Manage inspection records, schedules and asset integrity data through the company's MI management system.
• Review equipment designs, drawings, materials of construction and repair proposals for code compliance.
• Develop and review Inspection Test Plans and quality-control requirements.
• Provide technical oversight of contractors, NDE/NDT providers and code repair activities.
• Develop and maintain Integrity Operating Windows.
• Support capital projects, equipment fabrication and major repairs.
• Provide hands-on technical support during plant turnarounds, including extended shifts, nights and weekends when required.
• Train and mentor site personnel while staying current with industry codes and inspection technologies.

What We're Looking For

• Experience in Mechanical Integrity, fixed equipment, inspection or reliability engineering within chemical, petrochemical, refining, fertilizer, oil & gas or similar process manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of pressure vessels, tanks, piping and equipment damage mechanisms.
• Understanding of API, ASME, National Board and AWS standards.
• Experience with NDE/NDT, welding, inspections, repairs and QA/QC.
• Experience supporting turnarounds/shutdowns.
• Strong technical writing, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to travel regularly between manufacturing sites.

API certifications such as API 510, 570, 653, 580/571 and relevant National Board or AWS qualifications are highly desirable.
