Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable, experienced, and hands-on caregiver to provide full in-home care for an elderly female client in a private home setting.
This role requires someone who is comfortable with total care (bedbound client) and can provide safe, attentive, and consistent support throughout the day.
This is not a passive or sitting position this is an active caregiving role where attention to detail and dependability are critical.
Schedule
- Monday–Friday
- 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Consistent schedule (no rotating shifts)
Duties
- Assist with all Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene
- Perform safe transfers using Hoyer lift (or be willing to learn quickly and confidently)
- Assist with feeding and meal setup (breakfast, lunch, prep for dinner)
- Reposition client throughout the day to ensure comfort and prevent skin breakdown
- Monitor for changes in condition and communicate concerns promptly
- Maintain a clean and safe environment (light housekeeping, laundry, dishes)
- Provide calm, patient, and respectful care at all times
Requirements (PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING)
- MUST have experience with bedbound or limited mobility clients
- MUST be able to assist with transfers (150 lbs with equipment)
- MUST be comfortable with hands-on personal care (bathing, changing, toileting)
- MUST be reliable, punctual, and consistent
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain routine care structure
Preferred (Not Required)
- CNA or HHA certification
- Experience with dementia, confusion, or memory care
- Experience using Hoyer lift
