Evening Caregiver / HHA – Private Client (6 PM – 11 PM) – Immediate Start

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented caregiver for an evening shift assisting an elderly female client in a private home.

This role is responsible for dinner, hygiene, and full bedtime setup, making it one of the most important shifts in the care routine.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, patient, and able to follow a structured routine.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday
• 6:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Consistent weekly schedule

Duties

• Assist with dinner and feeding (6:30–7:00 PM)
• Perform full hygiene care (changing, cleaning, grooming)
• Prepare client for bed safely and comfortably
• Assist with transfers (Hoyer lift or willingness to learn quickly)
• Properly position client in bed with pillows/support
• Set up PureWick system correctly and ensure it is functioning
• Place pads and ensure client is clean, dry, and comfortable before leaving
• Light housekeeping (dishes, tidying, laundry as needed)

Requirements (PLEASE READ)

• MUST be comfortable with hands-on personal care (bathing, changing, toileting)
• MUST have experience with limited mobility or bedbound clients
• MUST be able to assist with transfers (150 lbs with equipment)
• MUST be reliable and ON TIME
• Must be attentive to detail and follow instructions closely

Preferred

• CNA or HHA experience
• Experience with dementia or confusion
• Experience using Hoyer lift

Important

This shift is responsible for setting the client up for the night.

If bedtime is not done properly, it affects the client’s safety and comfort overnight.
