ContractRole: Teaching Assistant/Educational CounselorLocation: On-Site in Arlington, MAPay: $23-25/hourResponsibilities:Provide instructional support to students inside and outside of the classroomSupport teachers, clinicians, and administration in maintaining a safe and nurturing environmentProvide academic support, accommodations, and modifications as neededEngage and facilitate students’ transitions between classes and throughout the buildingSupervise students in all school locations as needed, including during arrival and dismissalSupervise and implement coverage activities during staff absencesWork collaboratively with teams to prepare/maintain classrooms to support child developmentProctor testing sessions, providing IEP-mandated accommodations as requiredProvide ongoing social-emotional support to studentsComplete student-related documentation as necessaryModel appropriate social cues and body language and provide social pragmatic supportDesign and implement educational activities, with supervision, if neededQualifications:Experience working with children, ages 0-1 year preferredFlexible and responsive with a collaborative mindset and willingness to learnMaintain a commitment to professional growth and competencyExhibit positive behavior towards students, parents, and staffBachelor's Degree in Education highly preferredAbility to pass a background check and medical compliance requirementsCompany DescriptionWe’re Infinia Search.
