Outpatient Registrar
- Type: Contract to Hire
- Location: On-site in Doylestown, PA and/or Warrington, PA
- Pay: $22/hour
Responsibilities:
- Initiate and complete an accurate patient pre-registration or registration
- Verify patient’s insurance eligibility and benefits at or before time of service
- Secure and/or verify authorization for service in accordance with guidelines
- Enter physician orders accurately into the ADM and ITS modules as required
- Identify and collect patient’s financial responsibility
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience with insurance or in a hospital setting
- Experience registering patients, verifying insurance, and obtaining pre-authorizations
- Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems and with accurately updating patient information
- Ability to professionally assist patients and maintain confidentiality
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- High school diploma required
