We are seeking a Senior Director, Global Applications Marketing to lead and scale our Smart Home & Consumer business. Reporting directly to the head of the organization, this role carries end-to-end global responsibility for application marketing, G2M, strategic positioning, and execution across key growth segments.
This leader will define and drive global application strategies, shape differentiated value propositions, and ensure strong alignment between product roadmaps, customer needs, and market opportunities. The role requires a proven global leader capable of managing senior, geographically distributed teams while influencing cross-functional stakeholders across regions and divisions.

Minimum of $239,280 base salary per year / Maximum of $329,010 base salary per year
Austin, TX
Minimum of $226,480 base salary per year / Maximum of $311,410 base salary per year
In addition, all employees will be eligible to participate in an incentive plan.

Global Strategy & Leadership
- Own global accountability for performance and results across Smart Home & Consumer applications and marketing
- Owns end-to-end application roadmap for business-critical applications, including ongoing commercial assessment and alignment to the product roadmap
- Sets application strategy and develops application content for bluebooks, grounded in strong understanding of application use cases
- Lead a high-impact global organization, including multiple senior direct reports, fostering a culture of accountability, inclusion, and high performance
- Drive cross-regional alignment to ensure consistency in strategy execution while enabling regional market agility
- Defines the full Infineon offering (products, software, services, ecosystem partners), supports go-to-market (G2M) activities, and engages with standardization authorities to assess business impact
- Own the end-to-end global application roadmap for business-critical use cases, including commercial assessment and prioritization
- Translate customer and application requirements into compelling value propositions and system-level solutions
- Develop application blueprints, reference designs, and solution narratives grounded in deep understanding of end-use markets
- Identify and scale strategically important, fast-growing applications globally
- Lead global market and competitive analysis, synthesizing regional insights into actionable strategies
- Define value drivers, pricing frameworks, and differentiation strategies across applications
- Shape Infineon’s positioning as a trusted system partner in Smart Home & Consumer ecosystems
- Drive global go-to-market (GTM) strategy and execution in close collaboration with sales, product lines, and regional teams
- Define the full solution offering (hardware, software, services, ecosystem partnerships)
- Engage with key customers, partners, and industry bodies/standardization organizations to influence market direction and unlock growth
- Ensure strong resource allocation, prioritization, and execution discipline across global teams
- Balance strategic initiatives with operational delivery, driving measurable business outcomes
- Lead organizational planning, capability building, and talent development at a global scale

Leadership & Experience
- Proven global leadership experience in semiconductor, electronics, or adjacent industries
- Demonstrated success leading large, geographically distributed teams, including senior leaders
- Strong track record in applications marketing, product marketing, or system solutions leadership
- Ability to operate at both strategic and execution levels, translating vision into results
- Deep understanding of Smart Home, Consumer, IoT, or Edge applications and ecosystems
- Experience driving global strategies across diverse markets and regulatory environments
- Accountable for the performance and results of multiple related units, ensuring shared ownership across teams
- Develops plans across business, production, operations, and organizational priorities, delivering outcomes in fast-changing business and/or regulatory environments
